The salary range for this position is $104,500 to $118,250 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Boston office (4 days/week in office, 1 day/week remote)

Wayfair is seeking an innovative, results-driven Senior Analyst to drive the measurement and analytics workstreams that power program strategy and execution. In this role, you’ll be responsible for tracking program performance, conducting deep-dive analysis into key strategic topics, developing measurement and reporting tools / frameworks for evaluating member acquisition and engagement health, and supporting technical enablement of marketing, promotional, and onsite experience tactics. The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious self-starter with experience analyzing and applying data in digital consumer marketing and experiences.

What you’ll do

+ Serve as an expert on overarching program performance, developing automated reporting frameworks and dashboards, tracking key program outcomes (acquisition, engagement, retention, and other KPIs), and monitoring overarching program P&L

+ Provide critical insights into program trends and effects, exploring complex / advanced strategic topics (e.g., sign-up patterns, member activities) and translating findings into strategic recommendations

+ Analyze program incrementality and quantify changes in member behavior (purchase frequency, purchase values, product types, visit sources and revenue attribution, etc.)

+ Understand how customers engage with program rewards / benefits, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

+ Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product / Engineering, and Promotions teams to enable, track, and assess outcomes of complex A/B tests and cross-functional initiatives

+ Socialize learnings with Wayfair senior leadership via concise, answer-first communications

+ Collaborate with Data Science to explore opportunities to apply machine learning algorithms for improved program measurement and customer targeting

+ Forecast program growth / financials and construct business cases for adjustments to program structure, new or enhanced benefits, etc.

What You'll Need

+ Bachelor’s degree in a field with strong quantitative and analytical focus (Economics, Business, the Sciences, etc.)

+ 3+ years experience working in a quantitative field (finance, consulting or marketing a plus)

+ Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, SQL (or other coding languages), and Google Sheets / Excel

+ Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

+ Insatiable curiosity. Excited by finding patterns, generating insights, building stories from large data sets, and translating those into actionable plans and results

+ Uncompromising precision and attention to detail (zero-defect analysis)

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Collaborative team player with the ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive + have fun in a fast-paced environment
