Who We Are
Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our Product team plays a critical role in making this vision a reality by building technology that solves meaningful customer problems in elegant, scalable, and measurable ways. We work closely with Engineering, Experience Design, Analytics, Third Party system and service providers and business leaders across the company to bring these solutions to life.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to evolve the customer and supplier experiences for Appliances and strengthen our post-order fulfillment planning space. This role will provide the agency to influence the roadmap of two key areas within our supply chain ecosystem - 1) run product discovery and map end to end customer journey to improve the shopping experience for appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers etc.) and 2) improve the planning of fulfillment in the post-order journey across various stages - PO generation, supplier registration, carrier label generation and post-order customer or supplier initiated changes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate in a hands-on mode and build capabilities that provide a delightful customer experience.
You’ll act as a connective tissue between engineering, business stakeholders, operations, and external partners to deliver scalable and resilient solutions that power key business functions. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, can manage complex technical ecosystems, and is passionate about building capabilities and experiences at a large scale that powers Wayfair supply chain.
What You’ll Do
+ Run product discovery and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities that improve the supplier and customer experience in the appliances category.
+ Lead the integration of new carriers for appliances and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers - product availability on site, earliest date for scheduling delivery, add-on services like installation, post-order tracking updates and customer communication.
+ Ensure accurate fulfillment planning in the post-order world based on triggers from customers, suppliers and carriers
+ Provide post-order fulfillment plan support for cross-functional initiatives like 3P WMS integration, and Multichannel programs that bring value for the business and customers
+ Collaborate independently with Operations and Commercial stakeholders, and technology teams across supply chain, storefront and supplier-facing to drive improvements in speed, cost and customer experience metrics.
+ Partner closely with Engineering and Analytics teams to execute against your roadmap and continually improve team velocity.
We Are A Match Because You Have
+ 7+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on enterprise platforms, or integrations.
+ Strong track record of product discovery, defining the right problems to solve, and executing deliverables to solve those problems and unlock business outcomes
+ Comfortable discussing system workflows, tech design, and architecture decisions with engineers.
+ Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple cross-functional teams.
+ Skilled at managing stakeholders, including senior leadership, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
+ Strong communicator with a proven ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and external partners.
+ Positive, collaborative, and energetic approach to teamwork.
