**About the Role:** The Head of Global Insight Sales for EMEA and North America will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for our Global Insights business line across these regions. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record in sales, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions. The successful candidate will manage a high-performing sales team, engage with key clients, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance our offerings and market position.
**The Team:** The GI Americas/EMEA Sales team at S&P Global is responsible for driving sales and business development efforts across the Americas and EMEA regions. This team focuses on delivering innovative solutions and services related to infrastructure, including data analytics, market intelligence, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Sales Strategy Development:
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Global Insights business line in EMEA and North America to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth.
Team Leadership:
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Client Engagement:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions that leverage S&P Global's capabilities.
Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
+ Collaborate with product management, marketing, and research teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
Market Analysis:
+ Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
Sales Methodology Innovation:
+ Drive the adoption of innovative sales methodologies and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team.
Performance Reporting:
+ Report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic planning.
**Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $176,306 to $252,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We Are Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within financial services, data analytics, or market intelligence sectors.
+ Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and driving revenue growth in EMEA and North America.
+ Strong understanding of the Global Insights market and the competitive landscape.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
+ Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales initiatives.
