    Job Summary

    Are you ready for an exciting internship opportunity? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Technical Writing Interns with the Engineering Development Group at MathWorks. As part of our product teams, you will collaborate with engineers, quality experts, marketers, and user experience professionals. Together, we share a common goal: to develop cutting-edge scientific and engineering software for students and professionals.

As an intern, you can gain practical experience and receive training on MathWorks products, use case analysis, technical writing, and development tools.     Responsibilities

    Once you have completed your training on MathWorks' development processes and tools, you will work closely with our Documentation team. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Conducting use case research.

    + Translating your research into content specifications.

    + Demonstrating features, workflows, and technical applications with goal-oriented topics and examples.

    + Reviewing and providing feedback on product developments.

    + Taking initiative, suggesting process improvements, and mentoring to others.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's level degree in a technical discipline.

    + Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

    + Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

    + Experience with MATLAB

    Additional Qualifications

    • Communication and writing skills

    • Ability to explain engineering procedures and concepts

    • Programming skills (C++)

    • Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes
