Description:

Our client is seeking a strong resource for an ongoing long term direct consulting project. The work entails building and optimizing dashboards and creating analytical solutions using SQL, PowerBI, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate is ready to work hybrid (on site, with a mix of remote work) in the Dallas area of TX.

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $55- $60 / hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and maintain performance PowerBI dashboards and visualizations

+ Work with data models and optimize solutions using advanced SQL

+ Work with DAX, Power Query, and tabular modeling

+ Work with schema design (Snowflake DW / Oracle)

+ Perform CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning for optimal SQL queries

+ Collaborate with others in regards to ETL, pipelines, deployment workflows, and create solutions for business stakeholders

+ Work to automate and optimize data processing, including setting up monitoring solutions

Experience Requirements:

+ 8+ years of experience within either BI Engineering, or Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering

+ Familiarity with tools for analytics (reasoning, statistical analysis, reporting)

+ Ability to optimize models, and work within the data tooling ecosystem

+ Ability to work with APIs, Python, data governance, source control, semantic layers, deployments, and quality tools

*MUST HAVE - PowerBI, SQL (advanced SQL / ANSI SQL), and Snowflake*

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM/Engineering/Science concentration

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
