    Job Overview

     

    Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Cardiovascular (CV) Radiologic Technologist to join our team at our Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN! This is a .9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM and will include an on-call schedule for 2 weeknights and every 3-5 weekends.

     

    Perform all phases of special imaging procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

    + Performs diagnostic, vascular, or other related procedures to aid in diagnosis determination.

    + Assists Radiologist and/or staff physician in special procedure performance to expedite patient flow.

    + Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.

    + Assists in maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability.

    + Trains alternate staff to provide adequate staffing.

    + Coordinates coverage for special procedures and after-hours services.

    + Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.

    Required Qualifications

    + Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

    + Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 1 year of experience in Special Procedure Department/Cath Lab
