Job Overview
**Job Summary** :
As a Principal Strategy Analyst, you will lead the development of sophisticated strategic and portfolio analyses that will influence the organization’s most critical decisions. You’ll work on high-visibility projects from enterprise-wide strategic planning to modelling of new market opportunities; playing a key role in shaping the company’s financial health and long-term strategy. This role reports to the System Director of Strategy and Planning in a newly created function of System (Corporate) Strategy. We are looking for a critical-thinker and experienced analyst capable working with financial, market, consumer research, and other primary/secondary data to synthesize and story-tell strategic insight.
Job Expectations:
+ Serve as an advisor and collaborator to the System Strategy Team and support work related to strategic planning, portfolio analyses, new market opportunities, and other data-driven needs around broad strategic guidance and research.
+ Lead complex analyses including accountability for self-identified opportunity discovery and analysis. Displays original thinking and creativity. Meets challenges with resourcefulness. Generates suggestions for improving work. Develops innovative approaches and ideas. Presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.
+ Create centralized visibility and collaboration with finance, market/competitive intelligence, and consumer research stakeholders partners and drive alignment and coordination across deliverables.
+ Encourages data sharing and collaboration on data stack – raw data, intelligence/analyses, application of data analyses, data visualization.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to successfully establish and nurture collaborative relationships along with the ability to address and move forward complex issues.
+ Strong consulting or project/program management background, with demonstrated experience leading large initiatives from start to finish.
+ Capability in data analysis, data visualization, and storytelling to aid in the formation of content for ingestion at all levels, C-Suite presentations and mass internal communications.
Minimum Qualifications to Fulfill Job Responsibilities:
Required
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Organizational Strategy, Mathematics, Statistics, or other business or quantitative discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience
+ 10+ years of experience in strategic leadership or analysis of healthcare, financial or market segment data.
+ Experience in financial modeling, Return-on-Investment projections, and growth market analysis.
+ Results-oriented, strong collaboration, problem solving and negotiation skills.
+ Handles sensitive and confidential information, regularly exercises discretion and judgment.
+ Ability to think strategically, analyze issues and develop recommendations.
+ Strategic leadership and executive presentation skills.
+ Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
+ Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to address problems.
+ Ability to write and present reports and presentations.
Preferred
Education
+ Master’s Degree in a Business Administration, Strategy, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
Experience
+ Experience using Epic, US Census data, payor claims data, and other market/demographic data sets.
+ Experience with financial modeling, predictive analytics and healthcare business models.
+ Strategic consulting experience.

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
