Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Provider Recruitment Specialist to join our team! Join a team of four recruiters, recruitment coordinator, sourcing specialist and onboarding coordinators to recruit physician, APRNs and PAs to the Fairview Health Service organization.
This individual must be able to move at a very fast pace, possess strong organization skills and prioritize based on a rapidly changing environment. This position is responsible for the full-cycle process of recruitment including but not limited to sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, conducting references, negotiating offers, contracting, onboarding and retention, and preparation of recruiting reports to clinical leadership. Additionally, this role will ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and human resource policies throughout the recruitment process.
This position is hybrid, with an expectation of up to 50% in-person work.
Job Expectations:
+ Serve as a day-to-day resource to Provider Recruitment knowledge, in the area of physician, PA, and APRN education and discipline background, training components, and skill requirements.
+ Respond to practice and candidate inquiries consistent with Fairview strategic initiatives and serve as a resource for day-to-day recruiting activities surrounding recruitment trends, resources, processes, and tools.
+ Conduct candidate screening, phone intakes, assessments and potential sponsorship of candidate to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with candidates, present to hiring leader and give regular updates.
+ Conducts tactical recruitment activities including sourcing, attending / coordinating job fairs (local and nationally), medical association events and training programs.
+ Coordinates site visits, community tours, meals and travel for candidate.
+ Coordinate and create employment offers and compensation packages with the understanding of provider compensation and benefits based internal equity and negotiation of offers if necessary.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with Fairview clinical and operational leadership ensuring consistent communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
+ Serve as an advisor by providing insights on market trends, compensation structures, and hiring best practices.
+ Ensures that all employment forms/documented information are complete and accurate using the provider-tracking database.
Qualifications:
Required
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relative recruitment experience
Experience
+ 3+ years of direct provider recruitment experience including sourcing and onboarding or relative HR experience
+ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections, manage resistance, and close placements effectively
+ Experience navigating challenging recruitment conversations and finding solutions that benefit both clients and candidates.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
+ Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software
Preferred Experience
+ Broad knowledge of recruiting for all specialties assigned to Provider Recruitment Department
+ Proven track record of successfully hiring and retaining physicians, PA’s and APRN’s
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, while maintaining strong organizational and time-management skills

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
