Job Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Director is a trusted business partner, responsible for leading the FP&A function and supporting the technology ecosystem for organization-wide financial applications (Accounting, Adaptive, Suppliers, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Workday FDM and General ledger). This position will partner and collaborate with other Finance subject matter experts to identify and resolve system issues and develop and pursue opportunities for increased overall financial system efficiency. This position will also play a leadership role for Luminare Health’s finance function’s interactions with HCSC, and Luminare Health’s business leadership teams including the pricing and underwriting functions. The role will have primary responsibility for Luminare Health’s annual financial planning process, ongoing financial analysis and reporting activities, and financial projection models including revenue, expense, ratio-based, and KPI modeling. This role is expected to efficiently and effectively analyze business and financial data to create actionable insight and to partner with key business stakeholders to help drive insight into business action.
Job Responsibilities:
Own organization-wide planning, forecasting, and financial reporting processes:
+ Responsible for managing annual planning timeframes, processes, and key deliverables. This includes developing and maintaining accurate human capital and revenue models, project costing and ROI analysis, ratio-based and point specific expense projections, and headcount analysis and projections. This also includes managing and maintaining effective version controls and reporting partitions as well as supporting the creation of executive and board-level financial presentations.
+ Responsible for managing ongoing financial forecasting and reporting which includes maintaining and updating the activities mentioned above on a monthly / quarterly basis.
+ Maintain organization-wide schedules and communications regarding plan and forecast deadlines, expectations, inputs, outputs, and deliverables.
Incorporate financial inputs and outputs into broader organizational activities:
+ Responsible for monthly financial reviews with business leaders: inform stakeholders of financial results and responsibilities and utilize business feedback around underlying and evolving business and market trends and activities to inform organization wide financial and operational forecasts and plans.
+ Partner with Underwriting, Pricing, and Product teams and utilize expense and revenue model outputs to inform business decisions.
+ Partner with business leaders across Luminare Health to support human capital modeling and hiring plans.
Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to lead the effective use of Workday Financials, Adaptive, and related integrated systems and workflow solutions:
+ Manage data flow to/from Adaptive, support data flow to/from Workday.
+ Responsible for Luminare Health’s planning and forecasting platform; work with HCSC support to manage Adaptive architecture, access, and integrations
+ Ensure that Adaptive system processes are complete, accurate and timely; troubleshoot and validate correction of system errors and outages. Support ongoing system reviews, testing and upgrades.
+ Develop solutions to address short and long-term issues related to system pain points.
+ Collaborate with CFO and Finance team to “think outside the box” to optimize Adaptive and other financial analysis planning and reporting tools to support product development, segmentation, and other business changes.
+ Leverage business and finance knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements.
+ Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.
Lead financial planning and analysis team:
+ Maintain effective processes and documentation.
+ Develop knowledge redundances for key FP&A and financial system activities.
+ Evaluate and update team knowledge, capabilities, and system resources to adequately support evolving business needs.
+ Manage and support the ongoing development of direct reports; create succession planning.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
+ 10 years of related experience
+ 2 years of supervisory or management experience
+ 4 years of experience supporting Workday Core Financials and Adaptive Planning and Forecasting, or similar general ledger and financial planning platforms
+ Strong, demonstrable knowledge in the application, support, and modification of technology to maintain, analyze, and improve accounting and financial planning and analysis processes and system capabilities.
+ Must have excellent understanding of Financial planning, forecasting, trending and variance analysis, modeling, and reporting
+ Must have expertise in analyzing financial and operational data and providing actionable business insight and guidance to business leadership
+ Must possess outstanding customer service skills, including timely responses, communication to business partners regarding prioritization of multiple projects/tasks, clear explanation of complex financial analysis insight, and the ability to help the business partners define and understand their financial responsibilities on an ongoing and evolving basis.
+ Create, change, review and recommend processes.
+ Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management, prioritization, organization, and adaptability skills.
+ Ability to resolve technical financial reporting, forecasting and analysis issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
+ Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
Min to Max Range:
$116,000.00 - $217,800.00
