    Business Services Staff

     

    Hours: Contract Dependent (Typically 20-40hrs a week)

     

    Schedule: Contract Dependent (Typically Monday-Friday, daytime hours)

     

    Pay: $18+/hr

    Job Summary

    True North Goodwill’s Business Service department provides qualified talent to contract service roles across the Twin Ports. These positions are diverse, though generally entry to mid-level. Examples of these contract roles include janitorial, assembly, and light manufacturing. Some roles are more physically demanding than others, but rest assured, we only place staff members in roles for which they are qualified and enthusiastic.

     

    We’re like a staffing service, but as a non-profit, it is our goal to help all staff members connect with job opportunities that allow them to begin or progress in their goal career path. With the support of our Mission Service department case managers (optional), we’re able to provide our staff members with career guidance, training programs, and other resources while working a regular schedule and collecting a reliable paycheck.

     

    No direct hiring or conflict of interest penalties! Our staff members are free to be hired on with their contract sites directly if they wish to accept an offer. Also, our staff members are free to work more than one contract at any given time to a maximum of 40hrs/wk.

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Assure daily work is completed thoroughly to the standards of the given contract

    + Touch base weekly with Goodwill Business Service Director

    + Display constant kindness, patience, and respect to all contract and Goodwill staff
