    Job Summary

    If you're a recent university graduate with a passion for data-driven analysis and a desire to make a difference, you've come to the right place. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data using statistical techniques, implementing and maintaining databases, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, identifying, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on trends. Additionally, you will lead AI implementation initiatives to improve organizational efficiency and service delivery.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Responsible for updates and problem-solving of the Mission Services Division software databases and the Retail Division sales database.

    + Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and AI tools, and provide ongoing reports and dashboards.

    + Work with internal teams to research and evaluate business opportunities, including AI-enabled solutions.

    + Lead the design, testing, and integration of AI tools (predictive analytics, process automation, chatbots, etc.) into business workflows.

    + Contribute to process improvement projects, including AI adoption initiatives.

    + Work with administrative access to the key accounting, retail, and grant management systems to monitor and maintain data integrity, developing custom reports as necessary.

    + Assist with annual budget templates creation, distribution, and data upload.

    + Assist in streamlining the billing and reporting systems through automation and intelligent analytics.

    + Coordinate with Mission Services Management to ensure that data and AI-supported processes meet funding, regulatory, and best practice requirements.

    + Attend meetings and work with organization leaders to identify non-value-added activities and implement AI strategies to streamline processes.

    + Responsible for reporting monthly metrics to Goodwill Industries International.

    + Immediately report any wrongdoing, unethical or improper conduct, fraud, fiscal mismanagement, or misappropriation of funds.

    + Work in a collaborative cross-functional team environment and assist with any other tasks, such as labor productivity, incentive calculation, e-commerce revenue forecasting, expense analysis, cost-benefit analysis, vendor contracts for savings opportunities, digitize paperwork, etc.

    + Perform work activities in conformance to Goodwill's values statement: Trust, Respect, Dedication, Responsibility, and Innovation.

    Required Skills and Competencies

     

    + Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

    + Proficient in documentation and reporting.

    + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

    + Experience or familiarity with AI platforms and tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or machine learning concepts).

    + Strong communication skills to train and support staff in new data and AI initiatives.

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.

    + Internship or coursework experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or AI/ML projects is a plus.

    + Experience with Excel, Power BI, and exposure to AI-enhanced analytics platforms is required.

    + Some experience with Retail POS systems or automated reporting tools is preferred.

    + Willing to travel occasionally to organizational locations as part of work assignments.
