Find your purpose as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units at the St Cloud Hospital - CentraCare!

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Inpatient Behavioral Health you will serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities include processing of physician orders, maintaining the patient’s chart and performing clerical/receptionist duties to support patient care staff.

Schedule

+ Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks

+ 12-hour day shift | variable days Mon – Fri | 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

+ Will be scheduled every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) | holiday rotation

+ Onsite | St. Cloud Hospital

Pay and Benefits

+ Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience

+ Pay range: $16.59-$25.54 per hour

+ Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts

Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology required.

+ National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred.

+ Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred.

+ Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
