Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Panel Wire Technician to join a new and exciting automation and engineering company located in the Greenville, SC area. These resources will be responsible for the wiring of electrical panels. The Panel Build Technician will work closely with the project team to assemble and wire panels while meeting the customers schedule and the budgets. This will include cutting holes in enclosures per drawings and/or sketch’s, mounting and wiring electrical components per the information available. Inspection of panels, testing, and preparing them for shipment will also be a major aspect of the day-to-day responsibilities. The working schedule is a 4-day 10-hour shift with the opportunity for overtime and is 100% onsite. The compensation for this role is $25/hr with the opportunity to convert to full time employee.

Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of work-related experience with strong electrical knowledge
- Experience laying out panels/enclosures, wiring cables and reading drawings
- Experience wiring control panels per wiring diagrams schematics and pictures
- Working knowledge of UL508a, UL698, and NEC standards for panel building
- Strong understanding of Electrical Panel controls
- Experience working with Low Voltage electrical systems
- Strong communication skills
