Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering organization, you will be part of a team that supports a wide variety of teams, each facing unique challenges at different scales. Your work will play a crucial role in the infrastructure, with a constant focus on meeting the needs of those teams. You will be responsible for developing automation to improve processes, enabling the organization to deliver maximum value and build toward a more resilient infrastructure. Your voice will be heard in collective decisions about what comes next.

In this role, you will

• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience across all services and infrastructure capabilities.

• Develop and maintain automation using GitOps and infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Argo CD, Terraform, and GitHub to manage and automate infrastructure, leveraging DevOps methodologies.

• Gather insights into the needs of different teams to shape future offerings and provide support for current ones.

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation.

• Expand the capabilities of internal tooling

Skills and Requirements

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure design principles, including privacy, security, compliance, high availability, and resilience.

• In-depth experience with Golang.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes solutions such as EKS.

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation to support infrastructure and tooling.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a user-centric mindset and the ability to gather requirements across teams. ● Experience writing Kubernetes operators

• Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Argo CD, Karpenter, and Terraform

• Experience with Azure and/or GCP
