Job Description
Day-To-Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer for one of our largest clients. They will be responsible for analyzing end-user data warehousing requirements, promoting awareness, and understanding of the data available in the data estate, defining and implementing data quality assurance processes, and assisting in the creation of standard data architecture, including dimensional model design. They will be working with stakeholders to build and enhance current and future data warehousing, ETL, and dimensional modelling solutions. They will also have to monitor and maintain end-to-end dataflows to ensure maximum up-time and accuracy of data assets while also troubleshooting and resolving end user reported discrepancies and issues. This role requires the ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, agile environment, possessing strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The Engineer works in a constantly evolving hybrid cloud environment and is responsible for maintaining and upgrading skills through ongoing training and self-study. Effective communication with team members and the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities are essential.
Salary range: 120-150k

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of work-related experience
o 3+ years of experience in positions with similar levels of responsibility.
• 8+ years of work experience with T-SQL database development.
• 5+ years of enterprise production experience within Azure Databricks
o someone knowing how to support and expand functionality in databricks.
• 5+ years of work experience with SSIS and/or ADF data orchestration development and support.
• 5+ years of work experience with dimensional model designs across different lines of business.
• 2+ years of work experience with Power BI development and platform administration.
Preferred:
• Longevity- someone who has hands on enterprise production experience while implementing and supporting data bricks throughout the full life cycle. Screening Questions:
