Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a local client's high-performing mobile engineering team. This role focuses on either iOS or Android automation, coming in to support a team with a solid framework.

Skills and Requirements

- IOS or Android Experience (IOS Preferred)

- 3–6+ years of experience in mobile test automation using Kotlin/Android SDK or Swift/iOS SDK.

Deep expertise with Espresso, UI Automator, Jetpack, XCTest/XCUITest, and testing Compose or SwiftUI/UIKit apps.

- Skilled in building test frameworks, managing Gradle or Xcode configurations, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, fastlane).

-Strong debugging and profiling skills using Android Studio, Xcode, Instruments, and logs.

- Experience with device farms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack)

- Excellent communicator with a team-first mindset; drives quality through DOR/DOD accountability and peer mentorship
