    Job Description

    A company in the Kansas City area is looking for a Engineering Technician to add to their team. This person will be traveling to job sites across the KC metro testing construction materials. On a day to day, this person will be driving to job sites, reading plans, testing materials, and writing reports for each job site. Specifically, they will be testing concrete, eventually testing soil, then doing inspection. They must be able to work in the field and be able to lift to 50 lbs. and have a clean driving record.

    Skills and Requirements

    High school degree

    5+ years of experience with construction materials testing (Soils, concrete, rebar, etc.)

     

    Comfortable working full time and potentially 50-55 hours during busy seasons

     

    Valid driver’s license.

     

    Able to lift 50 lbs. Related degree (Engineering Technology, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science)

     

    ACI (American Concrete Institution Institute) certification
