Insight Global is currently hiring for a Remote Full Stack Engineer for one of our top Financial Clients. This developer will be spending their time working on new securities projects. They will participate heavily in daily stands ups and will work on their own stories or pairing with another developer on a story. This developer will be 70% front end focused and 30% back end. They will be expected to have an ownership mentality around everything that they do. Someone who is eager to be challenged and not afraid to ask questions will do extremely well in this role. Additional responsibilities include:

• Developing Java services and/or Angular web app development as part of an overall design and architecture.

• Working as a team member of an agile product delivery team focused on developing products to help our corporate marketing and sales teams meet their goals.

• Collaborating with other team members in advancing modern software development principles and practices that support a DevOps environment.

• The desire to teach and learn while maintaining humility and teamwork.

• Owning the continuous improvement in yourself, your team, and the solutions you build.

• Having a bias toward action.

• Working with remote teammates and customers (either work from home or other SFG offices)

• Working within a culture that demonstrates accountability, integrity, openness, and respect

This role will pay an hourly rate between $40-45/hr.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years experience within developing Java services and Angular applications in a DevOps environment

Angular Version 12Experience writing applications that consume REST services

Experience with Sprint Boot

Has worked with CI/CD pipelines and understands how to work with repositories and how they’re built

Strong understanding of testing methodologies Experience with Liferay DXP a plus.

Experience with Junit & Jasmine to run automated testing

Background in insurance or financial services.
