**Shift** : 6:45pm - 7:15am choice of any three days Between Wednesday Saturday

The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for performing various laboratory support procedures in assigned areas, including phlebotomy a clinical and anatomical pathology. This position must meet the required basic continuing education and depa This role involves practical knowledge in various laboratory procedures and support functions. In addition, thi and timely processing of specimens for analysis. This role maintains laboratory equipment and supplies, adhe standards. Responsibilities include performing laboratory support procedures, meeting continuing education specimens, maintaining equipment, training new staff, and adhering to safety standards
The value you'll bring to the team:
Collects patient, physician, and test order information to create patient accounts, verifying identification, insurance requirements.
May perform blood specimen collection, including phlebotomy and skin puncture for all age groups.
Receives, processes, and transports patient specimens, including centrifugation and aliquoting sample types.
Aliquots sample types and loads preanalytical instruments or delivers them to the testing department.
May perform cytopreparatory staining and accessions surgical cases with knowledge of anatomy.
May receive and set up primary specimen cultures, inoculating petri dishes for bacterial growth.
May perform periodic preventive instrument maintenance and quality assurance procedures.
May clean and disinfect laboratory equipment and spaces, maintaining inventory control and supply stocking
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:
**Minimum qualifications** :
High School diploma or Equivalency
6 months of relevant healthcare experience
Preferred qualifications:
Completion of a phlebotomy training program
PBT(ASCP) or MLA (ASCP) or equivalent
