The NYU School of Global Public Health is seeking a Research Associate to support ongoing NIH-funded studies under the direction of Dr. Mari Armstrong-Hough. This role is critical to advancing the PRECIPICE studies, which examine the mechanisms underlying racial and ethnic disparities in survival of respiratory failure, with a focus on both critical care and global health.
At this stage of the project, we are seeking a candidate with more advanced qualifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Research Associate will:
+ Coordinate multiple NIH-funded projects, including facilitating study team meetings, recording and managing meeting documentation, and producing/following up on action items.
+ Manage relationships with 10 study sites enrolled in a mixed-methods prospective cohort study of critical care clinicians.
+ Maintain IRB protocols for all related studies.
+ Facilitate design sessions and qualitative data collection (interviews and focus group discussions).
+ Manage lab activities by maintaining study subscriptions and software, updating study websites, and tracking project deliverables using GANTT charts and dashboards.
+ Conduct analyses in MAXQDA and STATA.
+ MPH or equivalent
+ Experience managing both qualitative and quantitative data
+ Strong organizational and project management skills
+ Proficiency in STATA
+ Proficiency in MaxQDA
Desired Qualifications
+ Experience working on studies in critical care and global health
+ Experience with intervention design and optimization methods

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $55,000- $75,000.
