    **Location:** San Fernando, CA | **Pay Rate:** $50/hour | **Schedule:** Full-Time, 1st Shift (8am - 5pm)

    Overview:

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking highly skilled Quality Engineer II’s to support our customer’s operations. This is a high-impact role for a Quality Engineer II who thrives in a fast-paced production or post-production environment. You’ll take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead process improvements, and drive results across engineering, operations, and quality teams. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency, safety, and success of advanced manufacturing programs.

    What You'll Do:

    • Plan and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.

    • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.

    • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.

    • Review all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.

    • Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.

    • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.

    • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.

    • Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.

    • Prepare and presents technical and program information to team members and management.

    • Direct technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.

    • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Design’s workflows and procedures.

    • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.

    • Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions ; Uses equipment and materials properly.

    • Design - Generates creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into images; Demonstrates attention to detail.

    Physical Demands:

    • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    **Pay Details:** $50.00 per hour
