    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Production and Maintenance Aircraft Mechanic** to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on mechanical and electrical experience with wide body aircraft experience who want to grow in the aerospace industry. You’ll work directly on critical aircraft systems, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications that keep these aircraft mission-ready.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform or assist with electrical modifications on and off aircraft, including wiring and system components.

    + Complete connector terminations (shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring).

    + Route, seal, bond, tie, and wrap wire harnesses and cables following established processes.

    + Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications to complete electrical modifications and repairs.

    + Support troubleshooting of electrical and environmental systems at the organizational or depot maintenance level.

    + Assist with operational testing, system check-outs, and installation of wire bundles and assemblies.

    + Handle tools, equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and responsibly.

    + Adhere to all safety standards, including Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems.

    + Work alongside other mechanics (General, Structures, Avionics) to meet production and schedule requirements.

    + Travel up to 25% as needed and support mission requirements with scheduled/unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays.

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Required Qualifications

    + 1+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance, electrical, or mechanical experience on wide body aircrafts.

    + Familiarity with electrical/electronic theories and systems sufficient to perform assigned duties.

    + Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal work instructions.

    + Ability to work rotating shifts (1st or 2nd) and adapt to changing schedules.

    + Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift 35 lbs., and pass required vision and color-perception tests. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with depot-level or modification maintenance.

    + Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, or riding-type powered elevating equipment.

    + Prior experience with hazardous material handling and aerospace maintenance certifications.

    **Pay Details:** $33.00 per hour
