    Our jConnect team is excited to offer an opportunity for a Network Engineer II. The ideal candidate will bring strong network support experience, a sharp instinct for diagnosing complex technical issues, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role includes frequent interaction with both internal teams and external customers. The position serves as a technical escalation point for the support team, handling complex and high-impact issues. As a technical escalation point for the support team, the Network Engineer II will take ownership of challenging cases and lead advanced troubleshooting efforts.

     

    This is a remote position, and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY; or Charlotte, NC.

     

    This position will work the hours of 8:00amCST – 5:00pmCST.

     

    All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

    What you’ll be responsible for:

    + Deliver network support and customer-focused solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    + Provide expert-level support and guidance to external customers, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.

    + Take ownership of challenging support cases from initiation through resolution, maintaining accountability and clear communication throughout.

    + Correspond with customer and other divisions within the company to insure all customer concerns and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

    + May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you’ll need to have:

    + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network engineering.

    + Strong knowledge of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).

    + Strong Knowledge of VPN.

    + Current CCNA certification.

    + Strong communication skills: written and verbal.

    What would be nice for you to have:

    + CCNP certificate.

    + Experience in virtual cloud environment.
