SUMMARY
IDEX is seeking to hire a Controller, Pneumatics North America, responsible for leading the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions across the Performance Pneumatics platform in North America, which consists of Gast Manufacturing, Airtech Pumps, and US Valve. This position will report directly to the VP, Finance – Pneumatics. This position requires a strong leader with strong business acumen, a thorough understanding of GAAP, SOX, financial statement interpretation and analysis, presentation, and reporting skills, as well as excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous process improvement. This individual should be an energetic, proactive manager exhibiting characteristics of servant leadership who can consistently meet deadlines and produce accurate financial information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Controllership
• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process of multiple business units within the platform. Completes according to corporate schedules and provides accurate results.
• Maintains robust internal controls and ensures adherence to the IDEX Corporate Policies related to Finance. Develops and implements local policy for financial control as appropriate.
• Develops and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the platform.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IDEX Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and IDEX policies.
• Ownership and Leadership of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger processes and team
• Leads both internal and external audits
• Leads and/or participates in special projects and assignments
Financial Leadership and Communication
• Ability to collaborate across the organization and positively influence business outcomes. Effectively communicate with business leaders across all functional disciplines.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing accounting employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance and mentoring, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems – all in accordance with company policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or MBA required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience showing progressive responsibility in accounting and leadership
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE preferred) and Financial Consolidation Tools (OneStream preferred)
• Expert skills in Excel; Proficiency with SAP Web Intelligence, OneStream, and other Microsoft Office Applications.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside of the Accounting Department.
• Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regard to ethical standards.
• Up to 25% travel to support multiple business unit locations.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $136,500.00 - $204,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
