    We’re seeking a Python Software Engineer experienced in Medicaid systems, APIs, and AWS to help modernize critical healthcare platforms.

     

    If you’ve built applications in Django or FastAPI and understand MMIS or health data integration, this is your chance to make an impact that matters.

    What You’ll Do

    + Design, build, and maintain Python-based applications and REST APIs using Django/FastAPI frameworks.

    + Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, writing complex queries and optimizing performance.

    + Develop and integrate with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and related healthcare data platforms.

    + Troubleshoot, debug, and profile system performance issues.

    + Deliver high-quality code within Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business and technical requirements for Medicaid and healthcare clients.

    + Work within AWS cloud environments to deploy and manage applications.

    What You’ll Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years).

    + 5+ years of experience in Python, JavaScript/Angular/ReactJS, JSON, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

    + Strong Django or FastAPI background.

    + Experience working on Medicaid or MMIS systems (required).

    + Familiarity with rules engines and healthcare insurance principles.

    + Hands-on experience with AWS environments.

    + Solid understanding of software debugging, testing, and performance tuning.

    Preferred

    + Experience in healthcare insurance systems or Medicaid modernization projects.

    + UI/UX certification or design experience.
