    Position Summary...

     

    We are looking for a data-driven professional with a passion for solving complex business problems through analytics, data strategy, and visualization. In this role, you will work across multiple domains to identify data sources, ensure data quality, and translate business needs into actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build compelling data stories, drive strategic initiatives, and support a culture of continuous improvement and ethical data governance.

     

    What you'll do...

    What You'll Do:

    + **Identify and Evaluate Data Sources:** Understand business domains, data categories, and storage systems (SQL, NoSQL); perform initial data quality checks and recommend fit-for-purpose data sources; prioritize data requirements and align with service level agreements.

    + **Formulate and Solve Technical Problems:** Translate business problems into data or mathematical models; apply analytics, big data, and automation techniques; recommend tools and methods and share use cases to demonstrate value.

    + **Visualize and Communicate Insights:** Use tools like Python (Matplotlib, Plotly), R (ggplot2), Tableau, and Power BI; design user-centric visualizations and front-end applications; build data stories and present insights to influence stakeholders; mentor junior associates on storytelling and visualization best practices.

    + **Develop and Apply Data Strategy:** Understand the business value of data and apply data governance principles; leverage knowledge of data ecosystems (management, quality, scalability); solve moderately complex business problems across functions.

    + **Manage Data Quality:** Promote data quality awareness and education; use profiling, cleansing, and integration tools; monitor data quality metrics and lead cleansing initiatives; ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and retention policies.

    + **Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis:** Use SQL, Python, Excel, and statistical techniques to analyze data; identify trends, outliers, and correlations; build and validate statistical models and hypotheses.

    + **Drive Business Execution:** Lead multiple projects by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing barriers; develop contingency plans and support continuous learning.

    + **Lead and Develop Teams:** Mentor and coach associates, build high-performing teams; foster a culture of belonging, recognition, and growth.

    + **Champion Ethics and Integrity** : Model company values and promote a culture of compliance and transparency; support initiatives that make a positive impact on associates and communities.

    What You’ll Bring:

    + Deep understanding of business domains and data categories.

    + Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and distributed data storage systems.

    + Experience with data quality management tools and frameworks.

    + Skilled in data visualization using tools (Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI).

    + Strong foundation in statistical analysis and exploratory data techniques.

    + Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.

    + Ability to translate complex business problems into analytical solutions.

    + Expertise in communicating insights through compelling data storytelling.

    + Demonstrated alignment of data strategies with business objectives.

    + Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior associates.

    The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
