• Systems Engineer (TS/SCI)

    Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. **An active TS/SCI clearance is required.**

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    + Evaluate, maintain, and improve network reliability, availability, and performance.

    + Maintain and respond to alerts from network monitoring tools such as InterMapper, ManageEngine, and vROPS.

    + Work with server and virtualization infrastructure and technologies.

    + Interface with customers to resolve system-related issues while providing world-class IT and customer service.

    Qualifications:

    + An active TS/SCI security clearance.

    + Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent.

    + Ability to commute to work at our customer site in Arlington, VA.

    + 8+years of experience provisioning, installing, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and VMware.

    + 8+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory domains, VDI, VMware vSphere, and VMware Horizon.

    + Experience using system monitoring tools such as InterMapper and vROPS (ManageEngine experience a plus).

    + An understanding of working in a secure federal environment and a strong willingness to learn new technology and grow your expertise.

    + Technical certifications: MCSE, VCP, Data Center Virtualization (DCV), CISSP, MCSA, CCNP, ITIL, CompTIA Security + or equivalent.

    Extras:

    + You have Microsoft or VMware certification (VCP, VCAP or Design Expert).

    + You have experience with the Department of State.

    + You can apply your knowledge of data networks to satisfy real-time environments.

    + You have experience with enterprise data network services, including performing operations and maintenance on desktops, workstations, servers, applications, and other IT resources.

    + You have hands-on experience with tools such as SCCM, VSphere, RDP, and ServiceNow.

    + You have exceptional experience with providing engineering solutions in a Windows 2012/2016 environment on-prem and in the Cloud.
