    Location Description

    The Post Consumer Brands plant in Asheboro, NC, features some of the most modern cereal production technology in the industry and the facility has quadrupled in size since it opened in 2007. Asheboro's 230+ team members produce some of our newest and most innovative cereals, like Oreo O's cereal! While there is plenty to do right in Asheboro, the town is only a few hours from the Atlantic Ocean in one direction and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the other direction.

    Responsibilities

    OVERVIEW:

    This position leads warehouse operations that result in safe, quality, and efficient service of internal and external customers, enabling team success through support, coaching, recognition, and accountability.

    Major Job Activities/Duties:

    + **GENERAL DUTIES**

    1. Understanding of Emergency Procedures

    2. Near Hits / Safety Incidents / Property Damage Reporting

    3. Maintain GMP/SQF audit ready status

    4. Coordinate Receiving, Line Supply, Material Storage and Shipping activities to resolve issues. Document, communicate and follow-up.

    5. KPI’s / Metrics - Identify, capture, analyze, and report critical performance measures.

    6. Effective Communication within and between other shifts/teams

    7. Ensure proper utilization of team members and activity levels.

    8. Provide recommendations to continuously improve service, quality of work, and reduce costs through process improvements.

    + **INVENTORY CONTROL**

    1. Ownership and auditing of cycle counts plant wide.

    2. Manage non-compliant components from identification through final disposition.

    3. Provide direction for proper use of the inventory adjustment process. Determine root causes, minimize adjustments and maximize inventory accuracy.

    4. Communicate causes and impacts of any issues with the availability of components needed for the completion of the production plan with appropriate departments and team members.

    + **Perform other duties as assigned.**

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements** **:

    Excellent computer, math, verbal and written skillsets. Knowledge of JDE, WMS, COSMOS, QSI, AFO, Applicable Lotus Notes Databases, a plus. Collaboration, decision making, problem solving, results orientation, ability to establish clear objectives for self and others; identify deviations from plan and facilitate resolution. Ability to operate Material handling equipment. Must be able to read, write and speak English and understand work instructions.

    Internal:

    Materials, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation.

    External:

    Production Planning, Transportation, Accounting, Customer Service, Suppliers, Freight Carriers.

    Job Accountability:

    Work Structure: Reports to and takes direction from the Materials Manager. Takes direction from the Line Manager on-duty on nights/weekends. Provides direction and organizes activities of the Warehouse Shift Leads and Warehouse Team members. Incumbent must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and integrate information from various sources to determine work priorities and methods to achieve them.

    Problem Solving:

    1. Ability to produce actionable plans by prioritizing competing activities.

    2. Ability to understand the flow of transactional information in the systems and take corrective action to ensure accuracy.

    3. Ability to plan and implement changes to simplify/improve, reduce cost and increase accuracy in assigned areas.

    4. Ability to work with internal customers to identify opportunities, address problems and find solutions related to warehousing.
