    Responsibilities

    + Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room, makes adjustments to equipment as needed.

    + Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.

    + Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.

    + Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.

    + Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line.

    + Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.

    + Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing.

    + Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.

    + All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.

    + All other duties assigned

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    + Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required

    + Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus

    + Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

    + Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel

    + Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

    + Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE.
