    WellSpan Health, a mission-driven, physician-led integrated health system serving communities across Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a **dedicated and dynamic Associate Residency Program Director** to join our Family Medicine Residency team at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

     

    In this vital leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the Residency Program Director to enhance resident education, oversee inpatient services, and foster a culture of academic excellence. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and teach MD and DO residents and medical students, participate in teaching rounds, and maintain a thriving outpatient practice.

    Qualifications

    + M.D. or D.O. degree with active Pennsylvania medical license

    + Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a faculty member in a residency program

    + Strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

    + Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

    Licenses:

    + Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

    + Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

    Courses and Training:

    + Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. Upon Hire Required and

    + Completion of a Family Practice residency. Upon Hire Required and

    + Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Teaching skills.
