Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $14 - $17 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Gerber Cutter Operator:

+ Operate the Gerber automated cutting machine (e.g., Gerber Paragon or GTXL) for precision cutting of materials

+ Review cutting markers, patterns, and job tickets to ensure correct materials and specifications

+ Load and spread fabric or materials onto the cutting table using manual or automatic spreaders

+ Ensure proper alignment and tension of material prior to cutting

+ Monitor cutting process and machine performance; adjust settings as needed for optimal output

+ Inspect cut parts for quality, accuracy, and consistency; report any defects or discrepancies

+ Perform regular preventive maintenance on Gerber equipment (e.g., blade replacement, cleaning)

+ Collaborate with pattern makers, designers, and production teams to resolve cutting or material issues

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and quality protocols

+ Accurately record job information, material usage, and production data

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

+ 1-2 years of experience operating automated cutting equipment (preferably Gerber)

+ Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability

+ Ability to read and interpret patterns, markers, and work orders

+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Background check and drug screening required
