Job Description
As a Senior Engineer, Supply Chain Planning, you will conceive, design, engineer, and implement demand and supply planning applications—including Blue Yonder Demand, Demand 360, Demand Classification, ESP (Enterprise Supply Planning), and Fulfillment. This role will be pivotal in shaping high-impact global transformations in supply chain planning. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our supply chain planning technical strategy and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, business system consultants and external partners to drive technical excellence and process optimization in AbbVie's demand and supply chain planning functions. You will have a deep understanding of supply chain planning technology and processes along with strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
+ Act as a lead technical expert for Supply Chain Planning applications with expertise related to Blue Yonder Demand Planning, Demand 360, Demand Classification, ESP, and Fulfillment platforms as well as adjacent advanced capabilities in advanced analytics, machine learning and cloud architecture.
+ Provide thought enterprise level leadership, creative problem solving, and utilize “out of the box” thinking to solve complex, sometimes ambiguous supply chain planning challenges. Prepare and delivery strategic technology recommendations to senior leadership.
+ Collaborate directly with business, technical stakeholders and external vendors/partners to understand and develop strategy, identify technology-enabled business process improvements, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Provide leadership and mentoring in the testing, deployment, documentation, and troubleshooting activities for planning systems and integrations with other enterprise applications (e.g. SAP, data warehouses)
+ Ensure compliance with AbbVie policies, industry standards, and best practices for supply chain planning applications. Set standards and provide governance for AbbVie’s enterprise supply chain planning technology.
+ Independently stay abreast of evolving trends in supply chain planning technology and help shape supply chain planning technology roadmaps and influence cross functional and enterprise supply chain strategies.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree with 8 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 7 years’ experience; PhD with 3 years’ experience.
+ In depth knowledge and recognized subject matter expert in relation to Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) – specifically Demand, Supply Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
+ Solid background in enterprise level software development, scripting, or configuration particularly Blue Yonder batch jobs and scripts, Blue Yonder configurations (UDT, UDC, FE, searches and option sets)
+ Integration experience with SAP Systems and Analytic platforms.
+ Expert in supply chain planning processes (demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory, fulfillment).
+ Excellent and demonstrated written and oral communication skills with executive leadership, peers, and staff.
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
