Job Description:

Purpose:

+ To support the PMC QA organization by leading and executing audits across supplier, contractors, and project quality systems for large scale utility Gas projects.

+ In addition to supporting the PMC QA group in supplier oversight, metrics, tracking, and reporting and other PMC QA deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

+ Serve as the Point of Contact for 3rd Party Inspectios which includes:

+ Coordinating inspections

+ Distributing reports

+ Communicating issues

+ Manage tracking/logging/trending.

+ Lead/Participate in scheduled audits.

+ Review PMC Audit Procedure and recommend updates to streamline processes.

+ Improve audit reporting templates and consistency.

+ Develop and track audit metrics (e.g., NCR closure rate, repeat findings) and PMC QA metrics per the PMC QA Conduct of Operations and Site Quality Plans.

+ Review EPC Site Quality Plans for completeness and alignment with project specs.

+ Collaborate with QA team to develop a Gas Projects Audit Plan relating to Site Specific QAPs.

+ Collaborate with EPCs to lead audits on future gas projects

+ Write formal audit reports and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) where applicable.

+ Support corrective action follow-up, trend analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.

+ Develop audit metric dashboard

+ Support the PMC QA group as needed.

Preferred Experience:

+ Quality Assurance/Lead Auditing related experience

+ Quality management experience (quality tools)

+ Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards

+ Large construction project experience in engineering, operations, or construction of large scale utility Gas power plants, supplier oversight, or geotechnical projects.

+ Materials testing experience (soil, concrete, geosynthetics, NDE, coatings)

+ Auditor experience

+ Non-conformance report experience

+ Shop inspection / Supplier oversight experience

+ Data analysis / trending and reporting

+ Problem Solving (Lean six sigma, casual analysis, etc.)

+ QA/QC experience

+ Materials testing certifications (soil, concrete, geosynthetics, NDE, welding, coatings)

+ Ability to coordinate QA/QC activities on large construction projects

+ Experience with civil, mechanical, boilers, welding, NDE, structural steel and bolting, concrete, piping, and coatings.

Preferred Certifications:

+ ISO, ASQ or industry equivalent Auditor certification.
