Responsibilities

Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio calls for medical assistance.

+ Respond to calls in a time-sensitive manner.

+ Ensure appropriate and accurate routing of calls.

+ Dispatch emergency units and coordinates air medical flights as appropriate and per established algorithms.

+ Maintain documentation of calls and physician/service referral for legal, medical and statistical purposes.

+ Follow up with referring entities for ease of access, marketing, evaluation, and quality improvement.

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
