Job Description
Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, this role will suit a Project Controls Lead from a rail, aviation, highways or defense background with proven experience and understanding of the processes to be based in our New York Offices.
Minimum of 10 years of infrastructure program/project controls experience is required, focus on cost control/cost management services. NYC tri-state area infrastructure construction is a plus.
Job Objectives:
+ Delivering Project Controls across infrastructure projects in New York.
+ The Project Controls Lead will lead the program controls function for a program, monitoring for accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying available controls team resources to best effect.
+ Turner & Townsend Project Controls Leads, establish effective control processes in compliance with the State and Federal Regulations and as directed by the Program Controller and maintain these at Territory / Project level.
Other responsibilities include:
+ Reviewing new project proposals/remits and monitor so that realistic, resourceable plans are developed for delivery of the program.
+ Identify resourcing requirements to support the program and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
+ Provide an efficient day-to-day service to the Program and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and program performance.
+ Monitor so that data input by project teams and others to cost and performance systems meet required data standards.
Qualifications
Office presence is required 3 days out of the work week, based in lower Manhattan. Requirements may change depending on our client's needs.
+ Experience in budgeting, tracking costs, supporting forecasting, and ensuring accurate reporting. Strong data analysis skills, experience with earned value, and the ability to work across teams are essential.
+ Minimum of 10 years of infrastructure program/project controls experience in the US is required.
+ Skilled in oral and written communication.
+ Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications.
+ Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications, for example Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
+ Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $160K-$190K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
