Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic Radiation Therapist to joinourhealthcare team. Your primary functionis the daily treatment of all patients in theRadiation Oncology Department. You will performa variety of Radiation Oncology procedures including treatment planning and simulation. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, scheduling patients, assisting physicians, and applying ionizing radiation for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards.Manages daily clinical operations.You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
+ You will administer radiation therapyas prescribed bythe Radiation Oncologist
+ You willutilizetreatment immobilization devices, customblockingor other accessory techniques to accurately reproduce the radiation treatment
+ You willutilizeimaging equipment for precise tumor localization
What qualifications you will need:
+ Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
+ ARRT (T) registryrequired
+ State licensureas a Radiation Therapistrequired
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
+ 3 or more years of experience preferred
