    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    As the **Patient Access Assistant Director** , you will work onsite at Grand Strand Health and other regional HCA Healthcare facilities and support the patient access function of a 400+ bed facility. You will be responsible for assisting the Patient Access Director & Regional Patient Access Director in daily operations of all patient access functions and serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility. You will drive patient access metric goals and make recommendations on where improvements can be made. The Assistant Patient Access Director will also ensure quality review measurements are in place. You will integrate the department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support service, assess and improve department performance, ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff.

     

    A qualified Patient Access Assistant Director will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and have a minimum of three years of leadership experience with at least two years of experience in healthcare management. Must be willing to live in or be willing to relocate to Myrtle Beach SC area. Regular travel to hospitals in Charleston, Summerville and Walterboro SC and Augusta GA is required.
