Your Impact
As a Merchandising Tech Enablement Intern, you’ll focus on building enterprise trust with clean data through auditing datasets, exploring algorithm outputs, and identifying opportunities. You’ll help Lowe’s transform the customer experience through technology solutions that drive data accuracy, consistency, and innovative efficiency across our product categories. This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving business challenges with tech, improving processes, and enhancing data-driven decision-making.
You’ll partner with business managers, product teams, and business analysts to explore how Lowe’s leverages platforms and tools to streamline product setup, inventory visibility, and customer experience—from vendor onboarding to shelf.

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26 – July 31, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You’ll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

What You Will Learn
+ How merchandising tech enablement supports merchandising through internal platforms and enterprise tools.
+ Strengthen collaboration skills by working alongside data engineers, global teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Develop hands-on experience auditing datasets, learn to identify data quality issues, and translate findings into business-relevant insights.
+ Enhance communication of technical findings through business justification to support future prioritization efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management, project management, business analytics, information systems, data science, or related field.
+ Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
•Preferred Skills/Experience
+ 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
+ Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
+ Familiarity with product lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), SQL, AI, and reporting tools.
+ Experience in a leadership position at work, school, or within a campus organization.
+ Interest in the intersection of retail, merchandising, and technology.
