Job Summary:

Asheville Cardiology Associates (ACA) is seeking an **experienced** advanced practice provider to join our expanding **general cardiology** practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams

+ Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board

+ BLS, ACLS certification required

+ **Cardiology APP experience preferred; and/or cardiology clinical rotations**

Position Highlights

+ **Hybrid Role - IP /OP Position**

+ **Schedule is a mix of 12 and 10 hr. shifts**

+ APP will split time between the office and hospital

+ Performs admissions, discharges, consults and general rounds on cardiology patients in the hospital

+ Works autonomously seeing patients in the outpatient clinic setting

+ Inpatient days only; 12 hr. shift; 7A-7P

+ Split days include inpatient in am; clinic in pm; 10 hr shift; 7A -5P

+ Outpatient only days; 10 hr shift; 7A-5P

+ _Inpatient coverage will include occasional weekend shifts_
