Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Construction Manager** to join our team supporting our Federal client in the Washington DC area! In this role **you will get to lead a team of construction management professionals** providing onsite support at the client office and ultimately multiple construction sites **.**
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Act as the Company representative with the client during the program execution.
+ Assist client to determine specific construction management support requirements to execute expanding construction program including:
+ identify Pre-Construction services required to execute construction projects
+ provide guidance on field construction staffing needs to perform Quality Assurance oversight for current and pending construction projects
+ assess construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
+ determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for defined scopes and schedules.
+ assess potential problem areas and recommend preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are being met by the General Contractors
+ prepare reports and formal presentations summarizing progress of construction activities
+ develop processes for monitoring General Contractor's manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedule.
+ Perform constructability and other reviews
+ Mobilize company resources, through liaison with construction management resources in other offices, new hires or specialty subcontractors to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ 10+ years of management experience directing and overseeing construction management teams in support of multi-$M Federal client construction programs
+ BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent construction related work experience)
+ Extensive knowledge of construction related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices
+ Demonstrated effective managerial capability
+ US Citizenship required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Broad knowledge and experience managing construction projects for Federal facilities and related infrastructure including: barracks, classroom/training facilities, marine docks, ship repair dry dock facilities, administrative buildings
+ Ability to develop and review statements of work for accuracy and completeness, including field sketches, CAD drawings, supplemental specifications required to support SOWs and supplemental construction directives.
+ Certification as a PMP with the Project Management Institute (PMI) or CCM with the Construction Management Association of American (CMAA)
+ Developed soft skills working as part of a team with Federal clients
+ Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
+ Proven ability for performing in a lead capacity on a project.

Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $231,700.00
