Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a strategic marketing and external communications lead focusing on Critical Infrastructure markets for the West Region to join our Corporate Affairs team.
The ideal candidate has experience in creating and executing versatile marketing communications campaigns with the ability to partner and inspire those around them. In this role the candidate will perform day-to-day marketing, communications, and public relations activities, as well as develop a long-term marketing strategy to advance our Infrastructure growth efforts.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Develop a holistic external communications and marketing strategy that advances the company’s Infrastructure growth efforts in the western part of North America.
+ Proactively partner with Business Development teams to plan and deliver key marketing campaigns supporting focus pursuits and key market initiatives, maximizing the effectiveness of the corporation’s marketing and business intelligence goals and initiatives.
+ Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, achieve enterprise business objectives, stay ahead of the competition, drive innovation and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
+ Work closely with members of the media to positively shape and place positive media coverage about Parsons’ projects and capabilities.
+ Understand Parsons’ products, services, and client base to actively create and nurture multi-faceted marketing campaigns.
+ Develop and track metrics in collaboration with the larger Corporate Affairs team to measure the success of internal and external marketing efforts with respect to brand exposure, marketing campaigns, etc.
+ Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans.
+ Assist in conceptualizing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across customer lifecycle in accordance with corporate strategy.
+ Working in partnership with the External Communications team, help guide creative direction to meet market objectives for advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets within marketing campaigns.
+ Present ideas and final deliveries to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
+ 5-7+ years’ related experience
+ Experience with media relations and press release writing
+ Experience working for large AEC companies or clients, or managing the communications for impactful Infrastructure projects
+ Knowledge of the western North America Infrastructure market
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of AP Style
+ Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
+ Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
+ Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools preferred
+ Collaborative individual who is comfortable working with multiple personalities, groups, and can lead by influence
+ Ability to travel up to 25%
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Experience with proposal development and capture planning for the AEC Industry, with experience developing pre-positioning strategies using digital and traditional platforms is preferred, not a requirement.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
