Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Kingsport, TN team! In this role you will get to be a part of a team designing facilities of the future.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Designing electrical and communication systems

+ Designing lightning protection systems

+ Perform all required design calculations including lighting, load and arc-flash/short-circuit analysis

+ Coordinating between disciplines

+ Perform site visits to gather design data

+ Work with a team of electrical engineers and designers

+ Provide senior-level leadership to mentor junior level engineers

+ Pursue licensure in other states to support department and company growth

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ **Professional engineer license is required (or current FE working towards PE).**

+ **Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.**

+ **8+ years experience.**

+ Experience with design of building electrical and telecommunication systems

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

+ CAD/Revit experience is a plus

+ SKM/ETAP experience is a plus

+ Advanced degree is a plus

+ RCDD certification is a plus

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
