Job Description
Marketing Event & Communication Coordinator
Supports planning, promotion and execution of initiatives that connect and engage our community. This role brings creativity and organization, while helping to design communications, execute events, and deliver experiences that deliver our brand, culture and employee engagement.
+ Assists with designing marketing signage templates and station brand collateral that align with marketing plans.
+ Coordinate logistics for on-site and virtual events, campus events, community activations, and team engagement activities.Support event communications, invitations, signage, and post-event follow-ups.
+ Manage event timelines, budgets, and setup details to ensure flawless execution.
+ Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to plan event themes, décor, menus, and experiences.
+ Capture photos and highlights for future communications and storytelling.
+ Develop and distribute internal communications that promote upcoming events, initiatives, and programs.
+ Create engaging content for Slack, newsletters, digital screens, and email campaigns. Maintain a consistent brand tone and visual identity across all communication channels.
Job Responsibilities
+ Work cross-functionally with facilities, culinary, sustainability, and experience teams to support initiatives.
+ Maintain project timelines, task lists, and marketing calendars to stay organized and on schedule.
+ Support leadership with presentation decks, talking points, and event recaps.
+ Assists with cafe photography, videography and copywriting for social media promotions, proficient photo and video editing skills preferred.
+ May serve as a moderator/host for cooking demos and other marketing events
+ Assists with administrative works (project coordination, scheduling meetings, formulating meeting notes, maintaining a filing system on Google shared Drive)
Qualifications
+ Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
+ Detail-oriented and thorough
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
+ Solid problem solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions
+ Sufficient in Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Canva.
+ Food service knowledge and experience will be a plus.
+ 1+ years of graphic design experience.
