    Description:

    Position Summary:

    TeleSAFE partners with NY State hospitals to ensure survivors of sexual assault receive comprehensive, compassionate care following an assault. Our deeply experienced forensic examiners provide on-demand support to hospitals, and we work with a wide range of facilities from large hospitals that simply need backup coverage or training to rural hospitals with no existing SAFE program at all. We are a highly mission-driven program and strongly prioritize a service-oriented and caring approach towards our hospital partners, and the patients they serve.

     

    This is a grant-funded remote opportunity (must reside in New York State). The Program Specialist is integral to the program's success and will support several areas of the program’s function, including partnership building, program implementation, and operational support. We are seeking an individual with a high level of attention to detail and a multidisciplinary skillset to join our team and support TeleSAFE’s growth. The dual purpose of this role is to support internal operations, including things like setting on-call schedules, managing inventory, etc.; and to support ongoing client needs, including managing a caseload of hospitals, conducting hospital and community outreach, signing new hospitals on to the program, and supporting client launch activities.

    Education Requirements:

    + A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e.: Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Criminal Justice, Business, etc.) is required.

    Experience Requirements:

    A successful candidate will be one that is/has:

    • A broad scope of skills in operations including project management

    • Strong customer service and communication skills

    • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a positive outlook

    • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at the same time while hitting deadlines

    • An affinity for caring for people and working with empathy both internally and externally

    • Very comfortable with learning new technology and adept in use of MS Office Suite and other standard systems

    • A background in healthcare (clinical or non-clinical) strongly preferred, but not required

    Principal Responsibilities:

    1. Program Outreach & Partnership Management:

    • Coordinate and deliver program outreach presentations to hospitals, allied professionals, and relevant stakeholder groups.

    • Manage a workload of hospitals through the full scope of the hospital relationship, identifying new potential hospital partners, guiding them through the onboarding process, project management of all aspects of

     

    implementation; and continuing to support them once the program is implemented, including any necessary case consultation or care coordination for survivors.

     

    • Support regular hospital check-ins and service collaboration to ensure client satisfaction and the ongoing success of the program.

    • Identify and collaborate with various departments within hospitals; serve as an initial point person to answer program-related questions. This may include, but is not limited to, CNO; physicians; clinical educators;

     

    IT people; ED management team; social workers; and existing SANE team.

     

    • Effectively act as a liaison between key hospital contacts, community stakeholders, and TeleSAFE team.

    • Use TeleSAFE’s project management software to analyze and report on the efficiency of growth campaigns; use analysis to refine strategy in targeting prospects.

    • Maintain accurate and complete records of services.

    • Offer ongoing program service support with active hospital partners.

    2. Program Reporting:

    • Assist in generation of reports to the team and funders on implementation, operational, and service status.

    • Prepare necessary reports for compliance with grant obligations.

     

    Pay range: $19.90-$31.84

     

    Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
