Are you a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? Join our team as a **Data Center Operations Specialist** , where your expertise will ensure the reliability and performance of our critical infrastructure.
•** **What You’ll Do
As the backbone of our computer operations, you’ll:
+ Monitor system health and performance, proactively resolving issues to maintain uptime.
+ Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
+ Lead incident management efforts and collaborate across teams to restore services quickly.
+ Uphold data center security and compliance standards.
+ Maintain clear documentation of procedures, configurations, and resolutions.
+ Stay ahead of the curve with continuous learning in cloud technologies and monitoring tools.
+ Partner with IT Help Desk, system admins, and business units to meet SLAs and plan capacity.
•** **What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a mature, conscientious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment:
+ **Experience:** 4–6 years in data center operations, with proven leadership in team settings.
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis
+ Advanced scripting and automation
+ Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure
+ Excellent customer service and communication
+ Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately
