Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Team Lead - Patient Access Dept!
As a Team Lead - Patient Access at MercyOne, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in managing daily operations within the assigned Ministry Organization’s (MO) Patient Access Department. Provides staff training, coaching and support; issue identification, assessment and resolution; and technical support within the assigned work environment to achieve desired outcomes and compliance with Trinity Heath policies/procedures and standards. Provides input in hiring/firing decisions as well as performance appraisals. May perform quality reviews and analysis to support internal controls, monitor employee performance and assist in staff development, retention and selection.
Purpose
Provides oversight & support of the workflow & functions in accordance with level of experience, education & standards. Assumes an expanded role & increased responsibility including delegating to others. Participates in the development of & the process improvement of policies & procedures. Works closely with leadership to maintain efficient & effective operations to ensure quality in daily operations.
May partner with leadership with the selection, orientation & performance feedback of the team. Works cooperatively to ensure that key customer needs are being met & achievement of operational & performance goals.
Schedule:
+ Full Time 40hrs a week, flexible schedule, some holiday and weekend rotation
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent / GED
Minimum of three (3) years experience with competency in patient access, pre-service & / or registration experience.
Ability to obtain a national certification in HFMA CRCR & / or NAHAM CHAA within one (1) year of hire.
