Job Description
Job Summary
Provide piano accompaniment for students in the Music program with the Department of Fine & Performing Arts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Rehearse with assigned students in preparation for junior and senior recitals. (to a maximum of 15 hours per student per semester)
+ Maintain a rehearsal schedule with students in the department that is reasonable for all parties concerned.
+ Maintain accurate records of contact hours with students.
+ Other rehearsals and performance duties as assigned and approved by the Chair of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, dependent on availability.

Minimum Requirements
+ Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Piano or closely related area — $30 per hour
- Master’s degree in Piano or closely related area — $40 per hour
- Doctoral degree in Piano or closely related area — $50 per hour
+ Experience – Minimum of two years of related experience.
Knowledge and Abilities
+ Ability to communicate effectively.
+ Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and tactfully with students, faculty, and other university personnel.
+ Ability to motivate students.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Other Requirements
+ Total work hours will not exceed 19 hours per week.
+ Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
+ Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.
+ Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
Pay of Rate will be determined based on educational qualifications.
