Manager Assistant

**Reports to:** VP, Digital Workplace Product Management & VP, Infrastructure Data & Analytics (ID&A)

Overview
American Express is seeking a highly motivated and strategic **Manager Assistant** to support two senior leaders: the **Vice President of Digital Workplace Product Management** and the **VP, Infrastructure Data & Analytics (ID&A)**
This role is designed for a strategic partner who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—helping drive business priorities, operational excellence, and leadership alignment. The Manager Assistant will act as an extension of the VPs, enabling them to maximize impact by managing business rhythms, connecting cross-functional priorities, and ensuring successful execution of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Strategic Partner to Leadership** – Act as a trusted advisor to both VPs, helping to set priorities, track progress, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
+ **Business Rhythm Management** – Coordinate and execute leadership routines (business reviews, staff meetings, town halls), ensuring preparation, follow-up, and high-quality outputs.
+ **Cross-Functional Alignment** – Connect the dots across Digital Workplace and Global Infrastructure teams to drive execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
+ **Operational Excellence** – Manage tasks, reporting, and key performance metrics to monitor progress and identify areas of improvement.
+ **Communications & Storytelling** – Draft executive-level presentations, talking points, and communications for internal and external audiences.
+ **Event & Engagement Support** – Support planning and execution of executive events, leadership offsites, and colleague engagement activities.
+ **Special Projects** – Lead and support critical initiatives as directed by the VPs, including technology strategy, process improvements, and transformation efforts.
Experience
+ 7 years of experience in strategy, operations, or program management (financial services or technology preferred).
+ Strong ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven experience creating executive-level materials.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse, global teams.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards, KPIs, or operational reporting.
+ High degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
