• Lead HIM Technician

    AnMed Health (Anderson, SC)


    This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and organizing medical records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

     

    + Monitors and reports on physician delinquency.

    + Ability to handle all interactions with physicians regarding deficiencies and other pertinent issues.

    + Assist HIM Manager as needed.

    + Assist HIM Technicians with jobs as needed.

    + Assist ROI specialist.

    + Analyzing medical records to ensure accuracy for compliance.

    + Completes scanning of the medical records after verifying all documents are completed.

    + Assist with ED delinquency and scanning.

    + Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma.

    + Computer knowledge and experience with Windows-based applications.

    + Keyboard Skills.

    + Data Entry.

    + Customer Service experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with EPIC or electronic medical records.

    + Must be able to correspond with individuals in a professional and considerate manner, answer phone, multitask between requestors and documentation of releases.
