Saint-Gobain is seeking a motivated EHS Co-Op Student to join our team **in Wayne, NJ.** You will assist in working with the Environmental/Health & Safety team on various projects for our manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience within the EHS world and an opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment, and receive mentorship and guidance from your team members.

Activities will include:

Safety

Industrial Hygiene Sampling

+ Conduct sampling to determine employee exposures to chemicals and noise

New Hire Training and onboarding

+ Carryout training of new hire employees

Manage EHS purchases

+ MSC PPE vending machine, Grainger safety shoe, and Clear Eye safety glasses

Lockout Tagout Program

+ Manage employee and procedure annual audits

+ Update LOTO procedures as needed

Miscellaneous

+ Complete other miscellaneous safety task

Sustainability Team

+ Participate in Sustainability Team activities and initiatives

Stormwater Pollution Prevention & Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure

+ Monthly Audits

Waste Management Program

+ Ship and track industrial waste

Miscellaneous

+ Complete other miscellaneous environmental task

We are seeking someone currently pursuing/enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree (Bachelors or Masters) within Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

The Co-op opportunity is for 6 to 9 months.
